What is ART and how does it work?

ART (Acrotrix Remote Training) is our online training platform for young acrobats, dancers, gymnasts and athlete. Your child can follow our 192‑skill syllabus, logs their progress in a graded journal, and can upload videos to get personalised feedback from Acrotrix coaches. You choose a plan, get instant access to the content, and your child trains from home or alongside their current classes.

Who is ART for? What ages and levels?

ART is designed for children roughly 5–16 who love acrobatics, from beginners working on cartwheels to advanced students polishing competition skills. The syllabus is graded, so beginners start with foundation skills and more experienced students can jump into higher levels.

Do we need special equipment or a big space?

Not necessarily.

A safe, clear floor space (living room, garden, studio) and a basic mat are enough for most early and intermediate skills. For higher‑level tumbling, we’ll clearly indicate when extra mats or a supervised gym environment are recommended.

Is it safe to train acrobatics at home?

Safety is built into the syllabus. We progress skills step‑by‑step, require key prerequisities before moving on, and mark which drills should only be done with extra mats or in a gym setting. Your child should always train with a parent or responsible adult nearby and follow all safety notes inside the platform.

How will my child know where to start and what to do each week?

When you join, we show you exactly where to begin based on age and current level, and how to use the journals and rewards so your child hits their first “win” quickly instead of getting overwhelmed. The goal is simple: clear first steps, visible progress, and one main path to follow, not a maze of random videos.

How does the coaching feedback work?

Your child records a short video of a skill, uploads it through our upload link (provided by VideoAsk), and an Acrotrix coach reviews it and replies with personalised pointers. We aim to respond within 48 hours so they can immediately apply the feedback in their next practice.

Do we have to attend live classes at set times?

We do encourage this, but not necessarily. The core tutorials, syllabus and journals are all on‑demand.

If you choose the Plus or Premium plans, you also get access to live online classes. These are kids who want extra structure and real‑time coaching.

My child already goes to an acro / gymnastics class. Is ART still useful?

Absolutely.

Many families use ART as their “homework platform” between in‑person sessions. The syllabus, journals and ongoing feedback help your child fix details, remember corrections, and arrive at class more prepared.

Which plan should we choose?

  • Standard: best for independent learners who mainly want the full syllabus, journals and rewards.

  • Plus: best for kids who benefit from live classes and extra accountability.

  • Premium: best for highly competitive students and coaches who want 1‑to‑1 routine help and the highest level of feedback.

Is there a contract? How do payments and cancellations work?

ART is a simple monthly subscription. You’re billed each month on the same date. There’s no long‑term contract and you can cancel any time before your next billing date from inside your account, so you stay only as long as it’s valuable for your child.

Can more than one child use the same account?

Each subscription is designed for one child so we can track progress accurately and tailor feedback.

If you have multiple children who want to use ART, contact us about family pricing and we’ll set up the best option for you.

Do we need to live near an Acrotrix location?

Nope!

ART is 100% online and available worldwide. You just need a device (tablet or laptop) and a stable internet connection. All prices are in GBP; your bank or card provider will handle any currency conversion to USD, EUR, AED or any other currency.
